An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Canteen Supervisor.

Our Canteen Staff are valued members of our community, playing a key role in providing nutritious snacks and meals that meet healthy food guidelines, suitable for both students and staff.

The Canteen Supervisor manages the overall operation of the Canteen, ensuring the team works effectively to meet standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing canteen staff, managing staff rosters, and ensuring all team members maintain current training and qualifications.
Hold a Food Handling Supervisor certificate and comply to Health Department Code and compliance.
Manage Purchase Orders and accounts to ensure payment is made on time.
Assisting in making innovative and nutritious menu plans and meals suitable for students and staff.
Liaising with staff regarding catering requirements as needed.
Assisting in making larger quantities of food to cater for events as required.
Ensuring all meals meet with College recess and lunch deadlines.
Preparing food on a daily basis according to the seasonal menu and in line with Safe Food Handling practices.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and solution-focused, with a positive approach to their work. They will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with all members of the College community.

The position is casual and works during College term times only.
